Puppy Love

Love.  I love EVERYTHING about this cake!  This was for the sweetest little girl that absolutely loves puppies.  So she needed the sweetest puppy dog cake ever!

Woodland Wonders...

Here's the perfect cake for the outdoorsy little guy celebrating his very first birthday!!!  It was a chocolate cake, of course.  ;)  The plaid was painted on fondant and the little buck and trees were fondant figures.  Doesn't it just make you want to snuggle up?!?

 

Cake to Blush Over....

I have been wanting to try a 'naked cake' for a while now... and what better time than my hubby's birthday!  At his request, this is a devine chocolate with only a smidgen of chocolate buttercream icing and a heap of raspberries!  *insert drool here*....  Soooo good and a nice change from the ordinary!

Get Well with a ROAR!

Instead of sending a get well card... this creative client asked for a get well card CAKE!  The subject was the Lion King.  How could I say no?  I absolutely loved doing the "book" cake - so much fun and so many different things you can do!

So I have done a whole bunch of Shopkins cakes and I still don't really 'get' what Shopkins are.  Some are admittedly cute... others are not so much.  And they are so small!!!!  Anyways, they do make darn cute cakes!  Here are 2 more Shopkins cakes... and don't forget to check my cupcake section for yet more Shopkin cupcakes!

40th Anniversary

This was a cake for an area printing business that was celebrating 40-years strong! The cake was vanilla and flowers were gum paste newsprint flowers.  I experimented with them and LOVED the outcome!

Earth Ranger Grady!

This is such an AWESOME program for kids!  I may be biased but anything to help save critters is a good deed in my books.  This year my oldest little decided he was going to help save 'Little Brown Bats' with an Earth Ranger party.  They supplied the decorations and loot bags... I supplied the cake!

As per the birthday boys' wishes... the earth was confetti cake and base was the 'chocolate' dirt.  :)  The frog is the Earth Ranger's logo...
